Obituary of Betty Wade
The passing of Betty Geraldine Wade of Fredericton, NB, wife of Wayne Wade occurred Friday, October 16, 2015 at home. Born on November 15, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Laversa (Hanscom) Everett. Betty worked with the Department of Finance with the Provincial Government, later she took a geriatric nursing course and worked as a homecare worker. Betty enjoyed travelling, motor cycling, walking and loved her children and grandchildren; she also enjoyed her time spent at the camp on Scotch Lake.
In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her daughters, Pamela Marshall (Robie) of Mount Rose, NS and Heather Hogan of Keswick Ridge, NB; grandchildren, Joshua Marshall of Calgary, AB, Eden Marshall of Paradise, NS, Caleb Marshall of Mount Rose, NS, Jonah Marshall of Mount Rose, NS and Kathleen Hogan of Keswick Ridge, NB; great grandchild, Josie Marshall of Barrington, NS; sister Muriel Kilcollins of Brantford, ON and brother, Fred Everett of Florenceville, NB. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jeff Wade; sister, Wilma Jamieson, brother, Floyd Everett and sister, Juanita McAllister.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 7-9 pm and at Sunset Church on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 12 until 2 pm followed by a Memorial Service with Rev. Joseph Beesley officiating. Interment will take place in Scotch Settlement Cemetery.
