Obituary of Willard Fraser
The passing of Willard Gordon Fraser, husband of Shirley May (St. Peter) Fraser occurred on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 10, 1938 in Prince William, NB, he was the son of the late Stanley and Marilda “Dolly” (Kitchen) Fraser. Willard was a member of the Mick Mack Trailer Club, Lake George and enjoyed watching hockey, having coffee with his buddies at Tim Horton’s and pulling trailers. He retired after 22 years of service with Wood Motors Ford as a sales person.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Ronnie Fraser (Anne) of Fredericton, NB; grandson, Jesse Fraser (Emilly) of Estey’s Bridge, NB; brother, Lester Fraser (Joyce) of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law, Pat Bourgoin (Richard) of Killarney Road, NB; brother-in-law, Jack Moore of Pokiok, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Rita Moore.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon Macleod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garnet Bradley, Steve Fawcett, Bruce Bourgoin, Ed Corey, Richard Bourgoin, Donald Moore and Ron Davidson. Interment will be in Douglas Rural Cemetery.
