Oh Herbie, just saw the announcement of Barbs passing. So very, very sorry my friend that you have lost your special life-long partner. Barb was so passionate about you and the family, as well as her gardening.
I have wonderful memories of my Santa visits to your home each Christmas eve. It was truly special.
When things quiet down for you, please give me a call and well go for a long overdue luncheon chat.
Friend, Ron (Steeves)

I did not know that my dear friend Barb was not feeling well. My condolences go out to her family - Herbie, whom I realize he is not well, and perhaps does not realize she has passed. and to her sons, Bob and Patric and Harold and
Barb and Herbies daughter Harriet. Barb always welcomed her friends who just stopped in unannounced, including me and I remember one day she served corned beef and cabbage for dinner with all the vegetables and she made it so delicious, I always tried to make it after, but mine was not like Barbs. My sincere condolences to all the family and may god bless all of you and give you strength during your difficult days ahead.
I am in a Special Care Home at 21 Harold Doherty Court and I need to use a walker so I can move around with not so much difficulty. I will miss Barb for the good days we shared and the little Toddies we had. I think Herbies illness took a lot from Barb, but we all know she is at Peace now with the Heavenly Savior.
God bless you all through your next difficult days you must deal with, the York Funeral Home is very good at helping you with your sincere wishes.
Sincerely,
Marjorie Wilcox

Leo and I were so saddened to hear of Barbs passing. I remember the years when Barb and Herbie would drop in to visit Mom and Dad. They were always like a breath of fresh air....they were so full of energy and life that you hated to see them go but go they did. They never lit for long...busy people. Off they would go until next visit and they always came. Loved your sisters, mothers grandmothers personality. She was a very special person. She died on the same date as Mom. They are having a great time again. So incredibly sorry for your loss. Wanda and Leo
