Obituary of Gordon Westall

Gordon Joseph Westall, 80, a lifelong resident of Fredericton, NB, died August 6, 2015. He is survived by his brothers, Donald Westall and Ernest Westall and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin Westall and Alice Grant, his brothers Lloyd, Harold, Arnold, sisters Margarets and Eva. Gordon was a kind hearted and generous man. He enjoyed company and was a true provider for those that were lucky enough to stay with him, with a warm bed and good food on the table no matter what time you showed up. He had a big heart for those that stopped by, and a smile that would light up any room he was in. He enjoyed his home in Nashwaaksis, and found enjoyment in gardening. He would love to show people his flowers.. He loved wildlife and nature, and spending time in the outdoors. He would often reminisce about the old days, and always had stories about his aunts and uncles, his mom and dad, and spoke fondly of all his siblings. He was a wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was an understated man, with an immense sense of dignity and loyalty. He will be missed. His Interment will take place on Wednesday August 19th at 4:00 pm at the Douglas Rural Cemetery.
