Obituary of Matthew Finnamore

With great sadness we announce the passing of Matthew Aiton Finnamore, 45, of Fredericton, New Brunswick, on July 9th, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, from cardiac arrest. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 14th at 2:00 PM at Kingsley Baptist Church, 35 Kingsley Road, just north of Fredericton. Pastor Chris Emery and Don Longworth will be officiating. Viewing will take place from 1:00-2:00 at the church before the service. Burial will follow the funeral at Seymour Cemetery, Kingsley Road. Reception will follow the burial at Kingsley Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by York Funeral Home. Pallbearers are: Kyle Bishop, Murray Williams, Don Longworth, Paul Brewer, Richard Paradis, and Terry Hunter. Matthew was born in Fredericton on June 16th, 1970. He graduated from Fredericton High School. He loved horses, cars, and fishing. Matthew is survived by his sisters, Sarah Jane Bishop (Lawrence) and Martha Jo Finnamore (Michael Linton) of Fredericton. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Jared Lawrence Bishop (Gabrielle), SK, Margaret Jane Losee (Matthew), N.Y., Joel Gregory Bishop (Jessica), SK, Kyle Joseph Bishop, Fredericton, Katie Jo Bishop, Fredericton, Jasmine Lilli Pinsent, and great-niece Pearl Rose Karen Bishop, SK. Matthew is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Percy Finnamore and Karen Lynn Aiton of Fredericton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Kingsley Baptist Church, The Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation or Changes Non-Profit Enterprises Inc. (http://changesstore.ca).
