Obituary of Frances Heidman
Frances E. Heidman of Fredericton passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on June 12th, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton in 1925, she was the daughter of the late Issac and Agnes (MacNeil) McMullen. She was a busy preacher’s wife and mother. She who had a gift of hospitality and service to others, especially loved friends from McLeod Hill Assembly of Christians.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, George Heidman and one brother, Burton (Betty) McMullen of Moncton. Frances is survived by two sons, Stanley (Marlene) Heidman of Fredericton, NB and Timothy Heidman of Mississauga, ON; one daughter, Grace (Ian) Carpenter of Osgoode, ON; one sister Eleanor (Bill) Leaman of Chelmsford, Mass; four grandchildren, Stephen and Michael Heidman, and Elsbeth and Miriam Carpenter.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, June 16th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 17th at 2 pm with Mr. Jim Comte officiating. Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery. Following will be a fellowship time at McLeod Hill Assembly of Christians, 171 McLeod Hill Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
