Obituary of Susan Estabrooks
The passing of Susan Marlene Estabrooks of Nashwaak Village, NB, wife of Larry Estabrooks, occurred suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 29, 1957 in Moncton, NB she was a daughter of Marlene (Blizzard) Fallu and the late Ivan “Bud” Frazee. Susan was everyone's big sister and her main priority in life was her family. She loved all the children and having everyone together in her house were her happiest times. Susan was in the Hotel and Hospitality industry when she first started working but is best known and remembered for being a caregiver to seniors. She spoke lovingly of every senior she cared for and grieved each and every one when they passed.
In addition to her husband, Susan is survived by her brother, Scott Frazee (Nancy) and sister, Sherry-Lynn MacFarlane (Garth); step-son, Chris Dempsey (Victoria); step-mother, Nina Frazee; step-sisters, Kate Burley (Brian) and Karen Madden; step-brother, Greg Madden; in-laws, Lyle Estabrooks, Janet (Robert) Stevens; niece, Taylor Grandy; nephew, Mitchell Grandy; several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Tracy United Baptist Cemetery.
