Obituary of Helen Brewer

The passing of Helen “Pretty” May Brewer of Upper Keswick, NB, wife of Chester Brewer occurred on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at home. Born on December 10, 1944 in Calgary, AB, she was the daughter of Harry and Patricia (Talerico) Webb. She worked at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB. She loved to paint, enjoyed flowers, gardening and playing on the computer. In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by her sons, Rick Donohoe (Cyrena) of Airdrie, AB and Dennis Donohoe (Shelly) of Calgary, AB; sister, Louise Lee (Terry) of West Kelowna, BC; brother, Bill Webb (Margaret Streight) of Parksville, BC; nephew, Jason Lee. A Memorial Service will take place at Burtts Corner Baptist Church on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital – Oncology Unit. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Burtts Corner Baptist Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
