Obituary of Juanita McAllister

The passing of Juanita Mae McAllister, wife of the late Elery McAllister, occurred on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the York Care Centre. Born on May 26, 1934 in Four Falls, NB she was the daughter of the late, Samuel and Laversa (Hanscom) Everett. Juanita is survived by her daughters, Colleen Pelkey (Wayne) of Winterport, ME and Ann Nicholas (Gerald) of Lewiston, ME; grandchildren, Heidi Chretien (John) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Kyle Pelkey (Krista) of Sterling, Mass, Lesley Dufour (Jamie) of Lewiston, ME, Jamie Pacheco of Poland, ME and Sarah Nicholas (Ryne) of Jackson, MS; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Muriel Kilcollins of Brantford, ON and Betty Wade (Wayne) of Fredericton, NB; brother Fred Everett (Mabel) of Oakland, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Juanita was predeceased by her sister, Wilma Jamison and brother, Floyd Everett. Although there will be no Visitation, a Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 10 am with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating. Interment will take place at the Calvary Tabernacle, Perth Andover, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrance may be made to the York Care Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
