Obituary of Leonard Dionne
It is with great sadness that the family of Leonard Enoil Dionne of Fredericton, NB, announces his passing on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 3, 1948 in Bath, NB, he was a son of Alice (Richard) Dionne and the late Enoil Dionne. Leonard was a custodian for the Fredericton School Board for a few years, he then went to Edmonton, AB, where he worked for the Edmonton School Board for several years; he ended his working career at the Veneer Mill in Napadogan, NB. He loved to fish and hunt, especially in the Napagogan area, where he resided for several years. Leonard will be sadly missed by all.
In addition to his mother, Leonard is survived by his sisters, Juliet (Doug) and Donna (David); brothers, Romeo (Gail) and Ricky (Evelyn); several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his father, Leonard was predeceased by his brother, Donald.
Although there will be no visitation, a Private Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stanley, NB at a later date.
