Obituary of Daniel Gibson

The passing of Daniel S. Gibson of Winnipeg, MB occurred on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Winnipeg, MB. Born on July 28, 1954 in Taxis River, NB, he was the son of Gladys (Stewart) Gibson and the late Kenneth Gibson. Danny proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He was an active member of Army Navy Club in Winnipeg, MB. Besides his mother, Daniel is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Gibson (Curt Lawrence) and son, Daniel Gibson Jr. all of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Alex and Jacob; sisters, Nancy Storey (Eugene) of Storeytown, NB and Candy Trecartin (Bill) of Whitehead, NB; brother, Terry Gibson (Daphne) of Newfoundland; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The Family would like to thank Last Post Fund, York Funeral Home (Bill Henwood), Rev. David Brewer and everyone for their kindness and understanding through this difficult time. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. David Brewer officiating.
