Obituary of Bessie Moore

The passing of Bessie Shorey Moore of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late William Moore occurred on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the York Care Centre. Born on August 29, 1920 in Perth, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Evelena (Cochran) Thompson. Bessie is survived by her daughters, Wanda Mott (James) of Brampton, ON and Elizabeth Frost of London, ON; sons, Rev. William Moore (Joyce) of Fredericton, NB and Allison Moore (Shirley) of Scarborough, ON; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister in law, Jean Thompson; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Thompson, Blanche Graham and Iona Broker; brothers, infant Jonathon Thompson, George and Alex Thompson; son in law, Rev. Lyndall Frost and sister in law, Della Moore. A Memorial Service will take place at Crosspoint Wesleyan Church on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Moore officiating and Rev. Peter Thomas and Rev. Peter Hayes assisting. Interment will take place at Olivet Wesleyan Cemetery at a later date.
