Obituary of Margaret Myles
Margaret Jemima (Keays) Myles, born in Escuminac, QC on May 30, 1943 to Jean Isabelle (Fair) Keays and Roger John Keays, died at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB on Saturday, February 14th, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, George Trueman Myles.
Margaret and George lived nearly 30 years in Oromocto and Fredericton. She worked for many years at Maritime Bricklayers and King Construction. She was actively involved in Avon in recent years.
She is survived by her three children, Terry Myles of Edmonton, AB (Susan Morrissey), Alison Myles-Paydli of Saskatoon, SK (Lionel Paydli), and Glenda Myles of Toronto, ON; her two sisters, Eileen Myles (Lanny) and Patricia Keays-Cunningham (late husband Lee Cunningham); her six grandchildren: Alyshea, Conor and Erin Myles (Terry and mother Evelyn), Jessica and Ryan Reid (Alison and father Darren Reid), Cody and Jenna Paydli (Alison and father Lionel Paydli) and Natasha Myles (Glenda); and one great-grandchild, Ty Reid (Jessica); and her many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2 pm with Pastor Perry Edwards officiating. Interment will be held at Brookside Cemetery, Pointe-a-la-Garde, QC in the summer.
