Obituary of Sharon Fullarton
The family of Sharon M. (Brawn) Fullarton of Fredericton, NB sadly announces her passing on February 10, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Clifford (Kip) Fullarton. Born on December 18, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Mark and Mavis (Foster) Brawn of Sunset Drive. Sharon’s only priority and passion in life was always her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was active in their lives. She loved spending time attending family functions and sporting events. Sharon also had a passion for camping and a keen interest in the Sunset Drive and Claudie Road area, having spent her entire life in that great neighbourhood.
Sharon worked at York Manor for 20 years as a nurse’s aide until the late 1990s, having helped train some of those who would later help care for her at the Manor. The family would take the opportunity to thank York Manor for the great care and compassion given to Sharon in the last months of her life. It is greatly appreciated.
In addition to her husband Clifford (Kip), Sharon is survived by her children, Kip (Helen) Fullarton, Wendy (Rick) Courier and Brian Fullarton (Joan West), all of Fredericton; grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna and Jessie; step-grandchildren, Daniel and Melanie; great grandchildren, Taygen and Landon; and sister Linda (Steve) Strang of Calgary AB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her sister, Donna MacDonald.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T.
