Stewart, Joseph Harold
The sudden passing of Joseph "Joe" Harold Stewart husband of Nora (Charters) Stewart of McNamee, NB occurred on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his home. Born in McNamee, NB he was a son of the late Harold and Christie (Storey) Stewart. Joe worked as a fishing guide at Wilson's Sporting Camps on the Miramichi for forty years; four generations of the Wilson family. Joe was a dedicated employee who took great pride in his work. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his daughter, Sherry Dawne Stewart (Rino Rossignol) of Oshawa, ON; step-daughter, Penny Mancini (Charles) of McNamee, NB; step-son, Jerry Hamilton (Wanda Buchanan) of Tay Creek, NB; grandchildren, Reilly, Christopher and Joshua; step-grandchildren, Skylar, Gavin and Jordan; sisters, Nellie O'Donnell (Ivan Weaver) and Irma O'Donnell (Allen) both of McNamee, NB; brother, Henry Stewart (Donna) of McNamee, NB; nieces, Jenny (Albert), Sandra, Susan (Joe) and Kim (wife of the late Bobby Stewart); nephews, Billy (Carlotta), Barry (Gwen) and Randy (Iboneth); several cousins and numerous friends.
Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by aunts, uncles, cousins and his nephew, Bobby Stewart.
Visitation will take place at Wilson's Sporting Camps, McNamee, NB on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 7:30 - 9:30 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Wilson's Sporting Camps on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. William Stewart officiating and Rev. Dr. Brian Spence assisting. Interment will be in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Carroll's Crossing, NB at a later date. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
