Obituary of Anna Greer

The passing of Anna Rose Greer of Fredericton, NB, wife of Ricky Greer occurred on January 25, 2015 at home. Born on July 28, 1952 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Cecilia (Curran) Flowers. Anna Rose enjoyed quilting and reading; she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Shawna Greer (Donnie) and Stacie Breen (Art); son, Brian Greer (Karen); grandchildren, Jeffrey Powell (Robyn), Meagan Greer (Ross), Kayla, Ryan and Jeremy Sprague, Travis and Tyler Breen; great grandchild, Aiden Greer; sisters, Ruth, Scarlet and Gladys Flowers, Sandra Laagland (Hans) and Diane Tomlinson (Adrian); brother, Burt Flowers (Jackie); several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Allen, Ralph, George, Wayne and Daniel Flowers and Charles Curran. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
