Obituary of Alice Robinson
The passing of Alice Louise Robinson of Hazelton, NB, wife of the late Arthur W. Robinson occurred on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 21, 1932 in Amostown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Vilda (Clowater) Amos. Alice enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting and sewing; she also enjoyed bus tours. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Doaktown, NB. Alice was active in the church as a past member of the ACW and numerous other activities. Religion played an important role in Alice's life.
Alice is survived by her children, Lenwood Robinson (Julie), Nelson Robinson (friend Karen), Arthur Robinson (Valerie) and Kevin Robinson (Phyllis); eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Gladys, Eva (Vingie), Marilyn, Donna (Willard), Edna (Donnie) and Sharon; brothers, Elwood (Barbara), Percy (Betty), Otto (Shirley), Haviland (Shirley), Arnold (Pat) and Wayne (Dianne); several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at Doaktown United Church on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Doaktown, NB on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating. Interment will take place in St. Andrew’s Anglican Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
