Obituary of Cecilia Kervin
The passing of Cecilia “Vivian” Kervin of Lower Durham, NB, wife of the late Millean Arbeau, occurred on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at home. Born on April 19, 1931 in Blissfield, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Parker) Kervin. Vivian worked in homecare for the elderly. She loved to read and volunteer her time including at the Transition House. She had a special friend, her dog Charming.
Vivian is survived by her daughters, Veronica “Bonnie” Phillips (Brian) of Durham Bridge, NB, Karen Foscarino of Windsor, ON; sons, Stephen Arbeau (Bessie) of Kingsley, NB, Theodore Arbeau (Caroline) of Windsor, ON, Dwight Arbeau (Marie) of Fredericton, NB, Chris Arbeau (Hélène) of Belleville, ON, Timmy Arbeau (Simone) of Noonan, NB and Andrew Boudreau (Melissa) of Fredericton, NB; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; sister, Alma Weaver of Blissfield, NB; brothers, Basil Kervin (Marilyn) of Doaktown, NB, Jimmy Kervin of Stanley, NB and Eugene Kervin (Kathleen) of Stanley, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughters, Diana, Geraldine and Trina; sisters, Mary Caissie and Doris Kervin; brothers, Charles Jr. “Sonny” and Allan.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11am with Father John Jennings officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Jean Tatlock, Diane Pyne Lee, Joan Allen and Amy Jo Phillips. Interment will take place in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Blissfield, NB at a later date.
