Obituary of Kathleen Yerxa

The passing of Kathleen Mildred Yerxa of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Bryon Yerxa occurred on Thursday, December 26, 2014 at York Care Centre. Born on February 9, 1927 in Dorn Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Coldicott) White. Kathleen was a member of the Keswick Baptist Church and the Church Ladies Group. Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Jones (Ralph) of Fredericton, NB and Sandra Waddingham (Randy) of Charters Settlement, NB; son, Edwin Yerxa (Patricia) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jamie Jones (Monika), Beth Morehouse (Jamie), Heather McKinnon (Kevin), Andrew and Bradley Waddingham, Mysti Yerxa and Amanda Yerxa-Hickey (Jason); great grandchildren, Elyse, Evan, Lauren, Aaron, Colin, Landon, Jordan, Brianna and Austin; several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine Dunphy, Bina McMinniman, Marina Ketch and Helen Yerxa (Ashley); brothers, Donald and Stanley White. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2-5 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. Interment will take place in Keswick Cemetery at a later date.
