Obituary of Garnet Holland

The passing of Garnet “Keith” Holland of Fredericton, NB, husband of Anne (Wilkins) Holland, occurred on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 25, 1958 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Garnet Holland and the late Elizabeth “Betty” (Bailey) Holland. He was an auto body technician. He was a member of the Darkside Jeep Club. Keith was an enthusiast outdoorsman who enjoyed dirt track racing and off-roading. He loved his family dearly, especially his granddaughter. In addition to his father and wife, Keith is survived by his daughter, Jodi Leigh Holland of Fredericton, NB; son, Garnet Joshua Holland (Linda Melfi) of Fredericton, NB; granddaughter, Shiona Leigh Holland; sister, Gina Thibodeau (Bob) of Fredericton, NB; two nieces and one nephew. There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
