Deepest sympathies to Wayne and Jane. You all have waged a courageous battle and it is a testament to Ann's fortitude and determination that she was able to enjoy the last 20 years and see her daughter grow into a young woman. My heart goes out to you and I wish you strength and peace at this difficult time.
Love
Peter & Elizabeth

We were so blessed to know Ann and enjoy her delightful warmth and gentle ways. She was cheerful despite her challenges and was fiercely loyal to her family and so proud of Jane's accomplishments. We extend our sincere sympathy and assurance that this life is not the end.

My heart goes out to you, Wayne and Jane. She most certainly was a cancer survivor - in fact, I would say a champion.
She (and you, Wayne) didn't accept her first and rather grim verdict, and went on to find care that could give her hope and did lead to a new lease on life.
She went through major surgery yet always maintained her sense of elegance and grace. I remember visiting your place after the surgery and while sitting by Ann on the couch she pointed at her beautifully wrapped head (ever stylish, even at a time like that) and with an amused, cheerful tone in her voice she invited me to hear the bones knitting in her head. And remember thinking, this lady's attitude is beautiful and amazing.
She also went on to not only bring Jane into the world, but with Wayne devoted all the years required to help Jane blossom into the incredible woman she has become.
Survivor, yes. But more than that - a champion. And one with always-present beauty and grace. I know you and your family will dearly miss Ann, but also have so much to be thankful for - for how much she was able to be in your lives.
Hugs and warmest thoughts to you both and your family.
