Obituary of Maureen Bolton
The passing of Maureen Mary Bolton of Fredericton, NB, wife of Charles “Butch” Bolton, occurred on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 2, 1944 in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Janet (Watt) Kelly. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church. Maureen enjoyed cooking, bingo, flower gardening, shopping and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Maureen is survived by her daughter, Dawn M. Bolton and son, David A. Bolton (Bev) both of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jessica, Dusty, Abby and Jesse; great grandchildren, Madden, Presley and Owen; sisters, Anne-Marie White (Gordon), Colleen Maynard (Don) and Heather Gardiner (Jerry) all of Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 2 pm with Father John Jennings officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Jessica Bolton, Dusty McSorley, Abby Hallett and Jesse McSorley.
