Obituary of Arnold Peterson

The passing of Arnold Weldon Peterson of Nashwaak Village, NB, husband of the late Brenda (Kerr) Peterson occurred on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 30, 1939 in Upper Blackville, NB he was the son of the late Weldon and Gladys (Arbeau) Peterson. Arnold enjoyed hunting, salmon fishing on the Caines and Miramichi Rivers, driving his old truck, 4 wheeling and boating. Arnold is survived by daughters, Cynthia Peterson of Saint John, NB, Wendy Peterson (David Blackwood) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, Laurie Hersey (Todd Astle) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Nicolas Hogan, Larissa Hogan, Lundi Hogan; great grandchildren, Isaac, Zachery, Colten; sister, Louis Smith of St. Stephen, NB; brothers, Weldon “Pete” Peterson of Nashwaak Village, NB, Buddy Peterson of Dartmouth, NS; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents Arnold was predeceased by daughter, Gloria Hogan; brother, Malcolm and sisters, Nora and Hazel. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 1-3 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
