Obituary of Diane Thompson

The passing of Diane Ruth (MacDonald) Thompson of Fredericton, NB, wife of Ford Thompson occurred on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born April 12, 1938 in McAdam, NB she was the daughter of the late Lloyd ‘Maggie” and Stella (Trask) MacDonald. In addition to her husband Diane is survived by her daughter, Mary Lee (Mark) Ebbett of Fredericton, NB; sons, Kevin (Lori) Estey of Caledon, ON, Jeff (Rosie) Estey of Oshawa, ON, Craig (Diane) Estey of High River, AB; grandchildren, Chelsie, Olivia, Matthew, Chasity, Brendan, Colin, Dane and Shane; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Mason and Alex; one great grandchild. Besides her parents Diane was predeceased by her sister, Claria “Sissy” Chessie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 11am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
