Obituary of Gerard Lanteigne

The passing of Gerard Joseph Lanteigne, husband of Norma (Gionet) Lanteigne, occurred on August 07, 2014 at the York Care Centre. Born on May 20, 1927 in Caraquet, NB he was the son of the late Arthur and Josephine Lanteigne. Gerard loved spending time with his family. In addition to his wife of 60 years, Gerard is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Brophy (Ken) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Matthew Brophy (Merlinda) and Aaron Brophy (Bianca) both of Fredericton, NB; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Gerard was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11 am with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
