Obituary of Theoda Stewart

The passing of Theoda Elizabeth “Toby” Stewart, wife of the late Marvin Stewart of McNamee, NB occurred on July 25, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Toby was 82. Born in Carroll’s Crossing, NB on December 12, 1931 she was the daughter of the late C.E. Keyes and Hazel Jane (Amos) O’Donnell. She was a member of the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly. Toby is survived by brothers, Richard K. O’Donnell and Amos O’Donnell (Marie); sisters-in-law, Mavis Roussel (late Gilbert), Ermonie Price (Gerald) and Gladys Price (late Norman); brother-in-law, Delbert Stewart; special nephew, Hughie Wellwood (Jeanette); several nieces, nephews and cousins. She had a special place in her heart for all her great-nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Toby was predeceased by her sisters, Flora O’Donnell (Gratten) and Lois Wellwood (Murray); brother, Floyd O’Donnell; father and mother-in-law, Pat and Frances Stewart; sisters-in-law, Helen Parker (Bill) and Leona Spencer (Colin). Visitation will be at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Allison Cromwell officiating. Interment will be in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove, NB. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Heman Chow for everything he did for Toby. A special thanks also to Dr. Debbie Gowan and Dr. Raza for the wonderful care and to the dedicated nurses and staff of 3 East for all the special care given to Toby.
