Obituary of Reginald Fullarton
The death of Reginald Roy Fullarton, husband of Jessie Fullarton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 15, 2014. He was the son of the late Ian and Annabelle Fullarton and was born in Williamsburg, NB, where he spent his entire life. “Reggie” worked at various jobs connected with lumbering and at heart he was always a woodsman. He was an active member and elder of St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church, Stanley, NB. He was a life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Beaverbrook Branch No. 80, Nashwaak Bridge, NB and a past member of the Nashwaak Curling Club, Stanley, NB.
He is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Jessie; two sons, Kim (Connie) Fullarton of Fredericton, NB and Robin (Deborah) Fullarton of Russell, ON; 6 grandchildren, Rebecca Fullarton (Scott Young) of Fredericton, NB, Julie Carrier (Keith) of Lethbridge, AB, Ryan Fullarton (Jessica) of Ottawa, ON; Kyle Fullarton (Elizabeth) of Ottawa, ON, Laura Dickie (Mark) of Stouffville, ON and Kelci Fullarton of Russell, ON; eight great grandchildren, Max, Ben and Katelynn Young, Matthew and Allie Carrier, Ethan Fullarton, Blake Fullarton and Abigail Dickie; three brothers, Ronald (Margaret) Fullarton, Martin (Maxine) Fullarton and William Fullarton; two sisters, Mabel Dorcas and Winnifred Malloch (Ralph); extended family nephews, Chris Fullarton (Carolyn) and Peter Fullarton (Sonya); nieces Jill, Meghan and Brianne Fullarton. He was predeceased by his brother, Vern Fullarton and sister, Joan O’Hara.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Kimberly Barlow officiating and Rev. Gordon Mowry assisting. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 80, Beaverbrook are asked to assemble at York Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 6:45 pm for a Legion Tribute Service. Interment will take place at the Williamsburg Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church or to the Williamsburg Community Cemetery.
