Obituary of Marlene Banks

The passing of Marlene Darlene Banks of Fredericton, NB, wife of N. Dale Banks occurred on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 9, 1944 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lila (McKinley) Jordan. She was a member of Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church. Marlene enjoyed knitting and crocheting. In addition to her husband, Marlene is survived by her son, Brian Fox (Venessa) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Benjamin (Brittany), Natasha and Krystle (Mike); great grandchildren, Farrah, Scarlett, Tristan and Olivia; sisters, Sharon Hanson (Warren) of Moncton, NB and Judy Bennett (David) of Tracy, NB; brother, Richard Jordan (Lynn) of Bewdley, ON; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Although there will be no visitation by request; a Memorial Service will take place at Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. A. J. Plaizier officiating. Reception will follow in the church hall. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
