Obituary of Allan Fairley
The passing of Allan Fairley of Kingsley, NB occurred on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Nashwaak Villa, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 23, 1928. Allan was a mechanic; he owned and operated Main Street Service Center. He was an avid outdoorsman and could fix just about anything. He loved his camp on the southwest Miramichi and spent many happy hours there.
Allan is survived by his loving wife of fifty one years, Jessie (Anderson) Fairley; daughter, Ella Nason (Philip); son, Steven (Dawn); daughter, Ann; three grandsons, Shane and Marc (Nicole) Castonguay and Jacob Allan Nason; one great grandson, Kyle Castonguay; sister in law, Thelma Fairley; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Sellers and Amber (Smith) Fairley, he was predeceased by his son, Keith Allan Fairley; his brother and best friend, Donald Fairley; brother, Arthur Fairley; sister, Lillian Fairley and niece, Myrna Blizzard.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 2 pm with Pastor Chris Emery officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be David Fairley, Brandon Fairley, Ron Smith, Darcy Tucker, Shawn Tucker and Gary Blizzard. Interment will take place in Seymour Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
