Obituary of Jamie Mazerolle

The passing of Jamie Yvon Mazerolle of Minto, NB, husband of Mona (O’Brien) Mazerolle, occurred on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 4, 1961 in Saint John, NB, he was the son of Emile Mazerolle (Sharon) and the late Winnie (Murphy) Mazerolle. Jamie worked for Maple Leaf Homes. In addition to his father, step mother and wife, Jamie is survived by his daughter, Natalie Mazerolle; son, Jeremy Mazerolle; grandchildren, Caelyn and Jaden; sisters, Michelle Gionet, Carol Tobin (Bill) and Sandra Golding (Roger); brothers, Ted Mazerolle (Sandy) and Bobby Mazerolle; several nieces and nephews; mother in law, Shirley O’Brien; brother and sister in law, Donnie and Kathy O’Brien. Besides his mother Winnie, he was predeceased by his son, Justin Mazerolle. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11 am with St. Theresa’s Community officiating. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
