Obituary of Geneva Anderson

The passing of Geneva Vera Anderson of Stanley, NB, formerly of Kingsley, NB, wife of the late Lorne Anderson occurred on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Nashwaak Villa. Born on August 18, 1916 in Lerwick, NB, she was the daughter of the late the Sidney and Bessie (Finnamore) DeMerchant. She was a member of the Kingsley United Church. Geneva is survived by her son, Paul Anderson (Sharon) of Kingsley Road, NB; three grandchildren, Stephanie Wolfe (John), Lawrence (Diana) and Terry; great grandchildren, Aiden Wolfe and Ellie and Ariana; several nieces nephews; chosen son, Murray McConnell; chosen grandsons, Jeffrey and Justin. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jessie, Mary, Beryl, Ruth, Leota and Dora; brothers, Warren, Raymond, Charles, Lawrence, Herbert, Oscar and Hugh DeMerchant. A Graveside Service will take place in Seymour Memorial Cemetery, Kingsley, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
