Tracy,
I just found out this evening, Jan. 20th, that your Mom had passed away. Many memories of "Churchill Gardens" came back to me of both sets of our parents. Many cups of tea and dinners at both homes. My sincere condolences to you and your family members.
Hugs to all, Sally

My sincere condolences to all of you with the passing of your sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and my aunt. My Aunt Beryl was very dear to me and every time I slice a cucumber, I think of the tiny sandwiches with the crusts cut off (something that was never done in our household growing up) with the cucumbers sliced so thin, they were almost transparent. When I boil the kettle for a fresh pot of tea this morning, I will pour my tea into a delicate cup in her memory. As I enjoy my tea, I will fondly remember her robust laugh ringing out at one of Uncle Bill's reminiscences of his boyhood escapades. I feel very grateful to have had my Aunt Beryl living close by while I was a child, for the many Christmas cards that arrived every year for so many years, and for our wonderful chat during our final visit in September a few years ago in her home in Fredericton. I hold each of you in my heart as you walk through the difficulty of the next weeks. Love, Jayne.
