Obituary of Janice McGeehan

The passing of Janice Vanessa “Van” McGeehan of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Garnet McGeehan occurred on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at home. Born on November 10, 1957 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Hubert Palmer (Mary Lou) and the late Janie (Burns) Palmer. In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Becky McGeehan (Travis Sowers) of Scotch Lake, NB; grandson, Samual McGeehan; brothers, Calvin Palmer (Tracy) of Elkford, BC and Eric Palmer (Tammy) of Tumbler Ridge, BC; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
