Obituary of Dolores Hill

The passing of Dolores Mae (MacKay) Hill of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, wife of the late Graham Hill, occurred on Monday, December 09, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Nashwaak Bridge, NB, she was a daughter of the late Blake and Evelyn (Clark) MacKay. Dolores was a member the Golden Age Club and the Royal Canadian Legion, Beaverbrook Branch #80. She enjoyed playing bingo, darts and cards. Dolores enjoyed spending time with her sisters on the Tobique and playing the guitar with her friend Linda. She is survived by her children, Gary Storey (Linda) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, Cindy Hunter (Andrew Dupont) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB and Rick Storey (Delores Waye) of Taymouth, NB; grandchildren, Jason, Travis, Billy Blake, MacKenzie and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Rosalea and Jackson; sisters, Marina Boyles (Borden) of Summerside, PEI and Marlene Hood of Nashwaak Bridge, NB; several nieces, nephews and her beloved cat Stripes. In addition to her husband, Dolores was predeceased by sisters, Cora MacKay and Bertha Young; grandchildren, Melanie and Timothy Hunter. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Kimberly Barlow officiating. Interment will be held in Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery.
