Obituary of James Lindsay
The passing of James Lindsay of Upper Durham, NB, husband of the late Vivienne Joyce (Curt) Lindsay occurred on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Nashwaak Villa, NB. Born on March 3, 1930 in West Glassville, NB, he was the son of the late Harold and Kathleen (Sweeney) Lindsay. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Bermuda and a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Marysville, Branch #15.
James is survived by his stepdaughter, Wendy Taroncher of New Jersey, USA; son, James Lindsay (Bonnie) of New Hampshire, USA and his mother, Cassandra White; half brother, Joseph DiGiacinto (Rose-Anne); two grandsons, Jason and Richard Taroncher; one niece, Mildred Mills (Theodore) and their son, T. J. of Fredericton, NB; many cousins and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his step father, Hanford Estey; half sister, Carol Estey; three half brothers, David, Richard and Rudolph Estey.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 12-2 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Stanley, NB at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Nashwaak Villa or the charity of donor’s choice.
