Obituary of Audrey Fullarton
The passing of Audrey “Cassie” Fullarton of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Earl “Bonnie” Fullarton occurred on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, while surrounded by her family. Born on October 11, 1927 in Jacquet River, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Edith (Galen) Furlotte. She was affiliated with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #80 and #4, where over the years she enjoyed dancing, bingo, darts and cards. Cassie loved playing cards with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; she also liked to knit, quilt and on occasion, in her earlier years, could be found selling her goods at markets and flea markets.
Cassie, formerly of Williamsburg, is survived by her children, Tom Fullarton (Barb) of Fredericton, NB and Lorraine Lunnie (Lorin LeBlanc) of Saint John, NB; grandchildren, Roxanne Bishop (Ben), Courtney Spinney (Mike) and Corey Lunnie (Amanda McIntyre); great grandchildren, Tristen and Emily Lunnie and Reese Bishop; several nieces and nephews. Cassie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandson, Christopher Lunnie; step son, Earl Fullarton; seventeen brothers and sisters.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Williamsburg Community Cemetery.
