Obituary of Darlene Cole

The passing of Darlene Mary Cole, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on September 27, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 27, 1954 in Harvey Station, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Edna (Hagerman) Cole. Darlene was employed as a Project Manager for Crown Lands of the Department of Natural Resources. She was a past member of Harvey United Pentecostal Church and later became a member of Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church. She was also involved in many departments of her church; Global Missions, Sunday School and Music. Darlene is survived by her sister, Shirley Lewis (Harry) of Perth Andover, NB; her brothers, Gerald Cole (Norma) of Harvey, NB, Alton Cole (Erna) of Fredericton, NB, Arnold Cole of Mill Cove, NB and Brian Cole (Lillian) of Harvey, NB; several nieces and nephews and her life long best friend, Myrna Cheverie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Dwight Cole officiating and Rev. Michael Trail assisting. Interment will take place in Cherry Mountain Cemetery in Harvey Station, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Global Missions or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
