Obituary of Frances Clark
The passing of Frances “Fran” Annie Clark of Chipman, NB occurred on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 29, 1942 in Lawfield, NB, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Lillian (Estey) Clark. Fran was a missionary working in Leadership Training for Women with The Evangelical Alliance Mission – TEAM of Canada, Ltd., Calgary, AB; she served in Chad, Africa for 39 years and France for seven years, coming home in June 2012 to "retire”. She was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church.
Fran is survived by her siblings, Raye Clark (Joan Rogers) of Chipman, NB, Sterling Clark of Chipman, NB, Benjamin Clark of Hamilton, ON, Valerie MacLean (Don) of Moncton, NB and Lynnwood Sellick of Green Hill, ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her "Mom and Dad Sellick"; brothers, Leon Jr. Clark, Wynn Clark and Marven Sellick; sister, Pearl Dunham; sister-in-law, Paulette Clark.
Visitation will take place at Cross Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 12:30pm until the service time at 2:30pm with Rev. Gordon Mowry officiating and Rev. Lawrence Meade assisting. Interment will take place in Cross Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Evangelical Alliance Mission, 2635 32 SW, Calgary, AB T3E 2R8 to be designated to the Women's Bible Institute in N'Djamena, Chad.
