Obituary of Barbara Furzer

Gone to her final resting place, our devoted Mother, Barbara Furzer departed this world on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Fondly remembered by her children; Steven Sharpe (Leah), Brian Sharpe (Patricia), Clinton Sharpe (Anna), and Allan Sharpe (Carole), her stepchildren; Muir Furzer (Emma), Carmenn Hynes (Keith), Jeremy Furzer (Angela), Jonathan Furzer (Sandy), and Doreen King (Paul). Barbara was a loving influence to her 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by her father, Frank Moxon, her mother, Doris nee Kimball, and her loving stepfather, Papa George Burge. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 11 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. A private family interment will take place following the reception. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Maugerville Baptist Cemetery or the charity of the donor’s choice.
