Obituary of Kenneth Hanson

The passing of Kenneth Russell Hanson of Fredericton, NB, husband of Miriam (McNeill) Hanson, occurred on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on March 23, 1941 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Lee and Addie (Williams) Hanson. Kenneth was previously a clothing salesman for Peter Roberts. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Heather Hanson of Fredericton, NB; son, Darren Hanson (Linda) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jacob, Logan, Alyssa, Taya, Tasha, Ashley and Brittany; great grandchildren, Boston, Hailey, Skylar, Jaxon, Emma, Caleb, Aiden, Chiara, Breona and Deacon; sister, Glenna Robinson of Fredericton, NB; brother, Doug Hanson (Lynette) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Carl, Aubrey and Harold Hanson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB, on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 7 – 9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at the Gibson Memorial United Church at 2 pm on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. An Interment will take place at Burtts Corner Community Cemetery, Burtts Corner, NB.
