Obituary of Earl Lyons

The passing of Earl “Teddy” Woodrow Lyons of Doaktown, NB, husband of Shelly (Price) Lyons, occurred on Saturday, August 03, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with family by his side. Born on December, 8, 1966 he was a son of the late Charles and Josephine Lyons. Teddy was employed with the J.D Irving Sawmill in Doaktown, NB. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, drives in the woods and time spent with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Teddy is survived by his two daughters, Denisha and Kali Lyons; step children, Emily and Brady Porter; granddaughter, Brook- Lynn Porter; brothers, Galen Betts (Shirley), Terry Carr (Sheila) and Brent Carr (Tina); sister, Ruthie Banagter (Dana); chosen sister, Brenda Munn; mother-in-law, Ruth Chow; father-in-law, Heman Chow; brother-in-law, Darcy Price (Erica) and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Monday, August 5, 2103 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Wesleyan Methodist Church, Doaktown, NB on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. J.A. Treese officiating. Interment will take place in the Doaktown Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be offered to a charity of the donor’s choice.
