Obituary of Almeda Munn

The passing of Almeda Jane “Medie” Munn of Holtville, NB, wife of the late Adrian Munn, occurred on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at her home. Born on July 1, 1926 in Taxis River, NB, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Munn and Lila (Conroy) Munn. Almeda was a member of Miramichi’s First Pentecostal Church of Holtville, NB. Almeda loved the Lord with all her heart and serving him was the greatest joy of her life. Almeda is survived by her daughters, Adria Storey, Freda Palmer (Jim) and Doris Russell (Wendell); sons, Hardie Munn (Darlene) and Arden Munn; sister, Noreen Nason (Barry); brother, Fred Munn (Velma); daughter-in-law, Winnie Munn; son-in-law, Don Harris (Christina); several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by daughters, Nellie and Kathy Munn, Marie Harris; son, Milton Munn; daughter-in-law, Sandra Munn; son-in-law, Norman Betts; grandson, Derek Munn; sisters, Annie, Hilda, Bertha, Ruth, Mildred and Bessie; brothers, Eddie and Raymond. Visitation will take place at Miramichi’s First Pentecostal Church of Holtville, NB on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm and on Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Miramichi’s First Pentecostal Church of Holtville on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Landon Decker and Rev. Carroll Carter officiating, Rev. Lester Mitchell assisting. Pallbearers for the service will be Aubrey Hawley, John Reid, Harold Rice, Kent MacKay, Tom Munn and Ernest Murray. Honourary Pallbearers for the serice will be Adam Peter Paul, David Milliea, Vaughn Donnelly, Tony Munn, Steven Carroll, Terry Munn, Charlie Lovelace, Phillip Munn and Lester Mitchell. Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
