Obituary of Grace Schriver

The passing of Grace Adelaide Schriver of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Barry Schriver, occurred on Monday, July 15, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 2, 1927 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Seymour) Lint. After working as a Switchboard Operator with Capital Co-op for several years Grace pursued her personal career of caring for others. Grace was an active and faithful member of Crosspoint Church. Grace is survived by her children, Robert “Bob” Schriver (Wanda), John Schriver (Shirley) and Carol MacDonald (David); five grandchildren, Derek Schriver (Kerri), Tara Stewart (Matt), Darren Schriver (Sherry), Gregory MacDonald (Adele Savoie) and Tami Van Schoppen (Peter); great grandchildren, twins, Isaiah and Michaela Schriver, Tyson Stewart, Emma Van Schoppen and Jayden Schriver; sister, Helen M. Jones of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Irene Anderson; brothers, Harold and Walter Lint. Although there will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will take place at Crosspoint Church on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Conard Symonds, Rev. Lona Johnston and Rev. Mel Norton officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Fellowship Room. Interment will take place in Olivet Wesleyan Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation, Crosspoint Church – Building Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice.
