Obituary of Dorothy Miles

The passing of Dorothy Helen Miles of Fredericton, NB, wife of Ralph Miles occurred on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 28, 1931 in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late George “Roy” and Mary Alma (Robichaud) Robinson. Dorothy was a member of Marysville United Church. In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Debbie Poore of Chandler, AZ; sister, Shirley Ann Hetherington of Fredericton, NB; brother, George “Roy” Robinson (Charlene) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth R. Poore; siblings, Hilda, Pearl, Oscar “Shine’, Ronald, Grace, Marjorie, John “Jack” and Florence “Toby”. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Marysville United Church on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. David Brewer officiating. Interment will take place in Marysville Baptist Cemetery.
