Anyone growing up in a large family will remember what it was like to have an older brother. They were the trailblazers and the role models. They were the ones who could convince their gullible younger brother to lick the outside doorknob in the middle of a prairie winter but also the steady best man calming the same younger brother on his wedding day. Time flies, through the bad parts and through the good parts. He was in the good part.
