So Sorry to hear of your loss. I had the great pleasure of getting to know Ingrid a little over the past few years, we had some great chats, she was always gentle, kind and happy to share stories of her time growing up in Germany and her travels. A truely lovely lady. My condolences.

I first met Ingrid at the Fredericton Indoor Pool where she became more than just a client. I introduced her to my Mom, Carlene Tranquilla, & yet another extension to being in Ingrid's life. Her & Mom developed a friendship which allowed me to keep up with all their ventures. I often would talk with both Mom & Ingrid over the speaker phone as Mom would be driving Ingrid to an appointment or perhaps grocery shopping. I thank God for friends that He puts in my path - Ingrid, you were one of them. Peace & love be unto all family/friends at this time. She was a great lady & will be missed by many.

i just read this, and it was perfectly beautiful and i thought you guys might like it, it’s by Khalil Gibran:
The most beautiful word on the lips of mankind is the word Mother, and the most beautiful call is the call of My Mother. It is a word full of hope and love, a sweet and kind word coming from the depths of the heart. The mother is every thing-she is our consolation in sorrow, our hope in misery, and our strength in weakness. She is the source of love, mercy, sympathy and forgiveness. He who loses his mother loses a pure soul who blesses and guards him constantly.Every thing in nature bespeaks the mother. And the mother, the prototype of all existence, is the eternal spirit, full of beauty and love. The word mother is hidden in our hearts, and it comes upon our lips in hours of sorrow and happiness as the perfume comes from the heart of the rose and mingles with clear and cloudy air.

Tom, Evelyn and Family . . . My thoughts are with you at this time. I have so many fond memories of Ingrid. Her and Lou were our next door neighbors since we moved to the neighbourhood 37 years ago. The chats we had when Ingrid came canvassing, she would always take time to catch up. I often sat with her on her front deck and talked about soccer as she was a big fan. We talked about our loved ones that we lost and shared many stories. I was on speed dial for her and Lou concerning Cable TV problems. Ingrid had the most pleasant and memorable laugh. I'll never forget it. I will forever cherish her friendship.
May God comfort you all at this time.
Bob Curtis
