I grew up knowing Barbara and Dean as frequent visitors throughout my childhood as they were good friends of my parents. We loved seeing them come to visit. There was lots of laughs and fun with playing board games and sharing tasty food. Barbara was very kind, and would tell corny jokes and riddles that would drive Dean crazy and make the rest of us laugh. They were more than friends to us, they were family to our hearts. Rest in peace dear Barbara.

Barb was our neighbor in Southampton for many years. She and Dean were like extra grandparents to our children. We celebrated birthdays and holidays, visiting back and forth. My kids loved to tease Dean, who dished it right back to them while Barb would say, " Oh Dean, behave!" She was a kind woman who shared snacks with our children and spoiled them at Christmas. I always looked forward to her delivery of scotch cookies during the holidays - they were the best! We were lucky to have had them as neighbors for a long as we did. Barb will be greatly missed. Love to Dean and the family from Marley, Tracy, Leah and TJ Dempsey.
