Obituary of Coreen Brown

The sudden passing of Theora “Coreen” Brown (nee McLaughlin) of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at her home.  Born on August 24, 1954 in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Ada (Caverhill) McLaughlin. She worked as a proof-reader for Maritime Law Books.

Coreen is survived by her sister, Sharon McLaughlin (Danny); niece, Trinda Cogswell (Ken); nephews, Lee Cogswell (Kristen) and Scot Cogswell; grand-niece, Sophie; aunt, Doris Moore; and special cousin, Gary Dunlay.

Besides her parents, Coreen was predeceased by her brother, Ivan McLaughlin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. A Private Interment will take place in Acton Cemetery, Acton, NB at a later date.
