My condolence to the family. I worked with John Capar at RPC and remembered the road trips to Pt. Lepreau and Grand Lake Generating Stations. He was always an engaging cool guy and good colleague. Will miss his laugh.

Very early in my career I was so very lucky because I met John. No only a friend but a mentor. With his help I progressed through my career and owe so much to him for his teaching.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to family and friends. I started at RPC in 1989 and soon met John playing outfield on the RPC ball team. I was a young engineer who knew nothing about nuclear power but John was kind enough to show me the ropes and I have great memories working at Lepreau and laughing with the gang after work. I miss you "John C" you were the coolest guy ever.

John will be missed by so many. His infectious laugh, his kind heart, and the joy that he brought to every room he was in. I have so many memories growing up of the Friday night parties you all had and john by the stereo blasting the tunes and loving life. Or out at the camp when we were little throwing us up in the water as far as he could!!!! The world got a bit more bleak by losing John. He was a great man and will be missed by so many. Thinking of you both xoxo

So much good work and so many laughs.
I am so sad to hear of John’s passing. I have known and worked with him since the early 1980’s.
John would work as a UT tech at Point Lepreau when we needed his expertise from RPC.
We spent many long hours together over years and years of inspection activities.
In 1995 I requested Johns help from RPC for a Nuclear Power project in Romania.
The Romanian technicians and engineers enjoyed working, learning and laughing with John.
Condolences to his family, co-workers at RPC and many friends.

My sincere and deepest condolences to the family and friends of John.
I have truly wonderful memories of working with John on numerous work projects, Point Lepreau being the last one .
We had many good times at the cottage around Lepreau where he stayed during the refurbishment.
I hade the opportunity to visit John at his cottage, reminiscing about where we have been and did in our lives.
It was truly an honor knowing John .
Rest in peace my FRIEND.
