Dale, Lynn and Danny. Well, Sam’s passing closes the book of our memories of Scotchtown. He was the last living member of the Happy Hour couples group. So sorry that we were not able to attend Sam’s celebration of life as we are in the States. He, along with your mom, was a great friend of our family and it is indeed the end of an era for sure. Warm wishes of support your way. Sam can now join Betty, Lloyd G, Dad, Mom and Florence for unlimited Happy Hours!
Take care.

To all the family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Sam and my father both lived at Paradise Villa at one time. He welcomed him to the villa when he arrived and Sam always gave a wave as he passed by the door of his room. It’s the little things that makes the biggest impact. It was also comforting to our family to know someone was there to check on him. Sam will be remembered and missed by all that knew him.

Lynn, Maxine and your entire family, our sincere condolences. He sounded like a wonderful man, and what a legacy. It's never easy to lose a parent, no matter their age, but sounds like a life well lived and enjoyed. Thoughts and prayers.

Sending condolences to Sam’s family. We got to know Sam (and his sister Ann) visiting our mom at Paradise Villa. Many an afternoon or evening Sam would be outside and we enjoyed so many great conversations as he spoke of earlier days and adventures of the past. Sam was fun spirited with a big heart and loved his family. A life well lived.
Sincerely,
Nancy Schuttenbeld

My sister Cathy Lynch and I both had the pleasure of knowing Sam from our RBC days. In the summer he would buzz by our place in Scotchtown in his boat, always out having fun. So sorry for your loss.
